Kyogre is a water-type legendary Pokemon. It is the mascot for Pokemon Sapphire and is hunted by Team Aqua in both Pokemon Sapphire and Pokemon Emerald. It can be found and caught in Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Emerald, and Pokemon HeartGold. Kyogre is also a part of Hoenn's Weather Trio. It is a Water-Type with a teardrop-like body with a flowing tail and giant wing-like fins with designs in red with a main color of blue. Though it is not usually shown, Kyogre has sharp teeth, indicating that it is a carnivore. Hoenn mythology states that it went to sleep in a marine trench after a long and difficult fight with Groudon. Going with its legendary pokemon of the Sea, it has the special ability Drizzle, which causes rain to fall each time it enters battle and increases its water based moves like Hyrdo Pump or Water Spout. It is also the only non Ice-type pokemon to learn Sheer Cold, a One-Hit KO move. It measure 14'09 and weighs 776 lbs. It is connected to the Blue Orb of Hoenn, as it controls it as said in Sapphire and Emerald and summons it in the Embedded Tower in Pokemon SoulSilver. Because of its move learn set, it has the ability to take down both Groudon and Rayquaza with water and ice respectively. It appeared in the movie, Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea as Manaphy's "steed", later helping destroy the villain Phantom's ship with a Hyper Beam.
